B O D Y; physical looks, traits, style of dress.

Long, lean, delicate looking. The kind of gait that makes you think 'I could snap him like a twig'. Tends to wear loose clothing to hide a wiry frame. Likes to appear unassuming, and tends to slouch to appear shorter than he is. Hair is often changing, but generally long at the top and shaved at the sides, and a shade of blonde, or a pastel color. Very rarely is it dark, but it happens. Gray eyes, betraying his other-worldliness.

M I N D; psyche, personality, general mentality.

A soft-spoken silver tongue, Kwang, at first, appears to be your standard guy. Sure, he's tall, and there's like this... aura, about him. His gaze is very piercing. But aside from that, he looks and acts entirely human, even if he is the furthest thing from. If you were to try and put him in one of the boxes that humans have created for magical beings, he would fit in the 'witch' category, with a good sprinkling of 'fae', and an ounce of 'shapeshifter'.

Which plays quite heavily on Kwang's duality. When he needs to, he is very able, and very good, at living in normal human society. He has learned to integrate, and to blend in entirely. But when surrounded with people like him - not human - he is a lot different. Boisterous, a little of a show off at times, but mainly because it is the only times where he gets to express and show who he really is. It turns him a little goofy.

But what matters, really is that through everything, Kwang has never lost what he came to Earth with: his generosity, and a desire to save Humanity from itself. Kind of a big task for the one guy, even if said guy has a lot of powers...

His sunny disposition and youthful looks don't mean he is weak, either, or naive. Having lived through hundred of lives, he's also been hardened by them, and he has grown an extremely thick skin, and a tendency to resort to inflicting irreversible damages when attacked, or even, sometimes, just threatened.

S K I L L S; talents, powers, magics.

Spellcasting — With the necessary help of his spellbook, Kwang can cast all sorts of spells. They usually require some ritual and energy to be cast. His speciality is element based, fire being his preferred one.

Flight — An offshoot of his time spent enslaved by Xylnan, a higher demon with some sadistic ideas. Xylnan, in the attempt to turn Kwang in a demon himself, attached firey, bird-like wings to his back. He can extinguish and retract them, but he retains two large wounds in his back where they sprout from. However, he can fly with them. Not discreetly, though.

Pain Absorption — His one fae power, passed down by his family. Through touch, and focusing a lot of energy, he can leech the pain from someone else, into his own body.

H I S T O R Y; times that made them, that broke them.

Kwang doesn't remember the circumstances of his birth, or even his family, these days. A lot of his earlier memories have been erased. Which doesn't mean that he is looking to remember them, either - the past is in the past, and one can only move forward. It is what it is, most of growing up is lost in a haze. But he does know that his family was magic, and pretty powerful. He does know that he started studying magic and spellcasting young, that he showed talent for everything related to fire spells, be them defensive or offensive, or just useful in general.

But it was his affinity to fire that would be his undoing, too. This part? This part, he remembers, all too well. When he met Xylnan, he was just another guy, looking to be in his early twenties like Kwang himself - who was actually approaching his first century. They'd struck a friendship, a friendship that turned into more, quickly. And when Xylnan revealed himself to be a higher demon, it was already too late. He'd insinuated himself so thoroughly into Kwang's life that he could not fight back the shackles that Xylnan put on him.

Turns out that Xylnan was a version of a mad scientist, demon style. He imprisoned, and tortured Kwang, for decades. Ran experiments on him, using Kwang's skill with working with fire to try to turn him into a demon, himself. The biggest of Xylnan's achievements? Burning a pair of wings to Kwang's back, ever burning wings that sprouted from the sides of his spine. The wounds would never heal completely, and always, and forever hurt.

Kwang freed himself by chance, almost. Xylnan was mad, hungry for power and careless. Enough cajoling and lying was enough to make him forget about shackles, one night, and that was enough. Kwang killed him, without hesitation or remorse.

It took a while after this for Kwang to find a semblance of a life he liked. But he found it. Through hundreds of years, he lived on Earth and moved through human society like any other human, unassuming, hidden away. He learned, and grew, and worked all kinds of jobs, found a dozen different hobbies and passions to explore and give up on, over time. Made connections, but he never fell in love again. He became this always smiling, sunny guy, with a desire to do good around him, in a hope to scrub off the stains his past left on his soul.

Not that he wants to forget, either - even if he could, he would want to remember what has been done to him, so he can make sure it never happens again, or prevent it from happening to other people. He gets a tattoo, on his back, surrounding the two never-healing wounds of his wings, to remind him that even if he chose never to use his wings, they are there, but he can make something beautiful of them.

Over time, he becomes a little of an urban legend. A vigilante, helping the poor and the innocent whenever he could. Could be seen, sometimes, flying above a city, a blazing streak of flame disappearing in the darkness, which is something he carries on throughout the war.
